  • Payment
    • Payment options include bitcoin or cash. I do not accept checks, credit cards, paypal, wire transfers, IOUs, EBT, or food stamps.
    • Prices listed in bitcoin are based on the 24 hour moving average exchange rate with the United States Dollar displayed on BitcoinAverage (updated once per minute), and include a 10% discount. If payment via bitcoin is desired, a bitcoin payment address will be sent to the customer via e-mail.
    • Total payment amount shall be confirmed by invoice which will be delivered to the customer via e-mail.
  • Pickup
    • Local pickup by the buyer only. I will not deliver or coordinate any delivery with a shipping carrier.
      • Please note, these solar collectors will not fit in a minivan. They will fit in a sprinter van though.
      • Because the collectors are fully assembled and include glass, they must be shipped vertically to avoid fracture.
      • Your best bet is probably using an enclosed trailer. Or, a truck and an open trailer with some boards supporting the solar collectors.
      • If you buy 4 or 8 solar collectors they will be in a thin wooden box that will be enough support, as long as you have enough straps.
  • Sales Tax
    • The state of Kentucky requires me to collect a 6% sales tax unless you can prove that you will be purchasing these for resale purposes.
  • Disclaimer
    • Andy Schroder is not responsible for improper installation of the solar collectors.
      • Failure to securely mount the solar collector can result in damage and injury in the event of high winds.
      • Failure to install pressure relief valves and/or design the system to handle surplus thermal energy collection could cause severe damage and injury.
    • CPC1512/CPC1518 solar thermal collectors have been tested according to EN 12975-2:2006 and received the Solar Keymark from Din Certco. Customer understands that manufacturing variations could cause collectors not to perform exactly as these official test reports have published. Please note: these solar collectors are not SRCC certified and do not qualify for residential tax credits. Please see "Technical Description of Solar Collector Efficiency" for further details regarding solar collector efficiency.
    • Receipt of payment indicates agreement to these terms.
